That's Some Bad Beaver

Apparently, the howling wilderness to the north of my favorite city (that would be Maryland and DC, respectively) has beaver problem (snicker, snicker).

Yep a beaver attacked and bit several people last weekend in the Rocks State Park. The beaver has tested positive for rabies.

According to the media, the offending rodent was "caught and euthanized." Doesn't that sound nice, given that Mr. Bitey was a savage - if kinda cute - beast.

So, the local health department is warning the public that other beavers in the park may be rabid. So, mom and dad, keep the rugrats under control or they may wind up part of a dam someplace.
