Must Buy Now

Normally, I wouldn't think about putting up anything about a dvd that had yet to be released. However...coming in October...the DVD event of the year...Kolchak:The Night Stalker.

Okay, maybe DVD event of the year is a bit much; but I loved this very short-lived TV series from 1974. Darren McGavin stars as a savy, but often down-on-his-luck reporter who just happens to run into the supernatural at least once a week. Although some of the eps are pretty bad (particularly one about a ghostly knight) it is still a fun series and was a big influence on the X-Files. Check it out.
